It's official... The New Auburn Studio

Hello All. It's finally official. The new studio in Auburn is located at 421 Washington Street (that's Route 20). Here's a link to a Google Map to give you a better idea of where it is: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=421+Washington+St,+Auburn,+MA+01501,+USA&sa=X&oi=map&ct=title

Also, here are some of the amenities that will be part of the new place:

  • 6,500 square feet of studio space (3 dance rooms)
  • WI-FI web access (for Mom or Dad to finish their work)
  • Student study areas (finish your homework kids!)
  • Central air (no more window units)
  • Huge waiting rooms (lots of room for all to spread out)
  • Children's play room (a unique space... not toys to trip on in main lobby)
  • Closed circuit tv's for all 3 dance rooms

Be sure to check out the main site for more updates!

Adding comments to posts here

Hello All. I've had a couple of people ask how they can add comments to my posts here. What happens is when you click on the option to comment, you get prompted to setup a Blogger account. I've done this on purpose so that people don't make goofy posts or post nasty things here. This way, there's a little bit of governance to making replies. It's free and it's really simple to setup a quick account. It ought to just take you a few minutes. I look forward to hearing from you!

New Auburn Studio

Wow. I believe the 'official' announcement will be going out this coming week (along with some photos) of the new Auburn studio. My wife and I just got a preview of the place by Sally. She gave us a tour along with her plans for how she's going to utilize the space.

I believe that it is going to literally double (if not more) the capacity of the previous Auburn studio. Additionally, she's planning on a lot of extra amenities for parents and children alike. This year happens to be Sally's 30th anniversary teaching dance and this will be an incredible event to kick it off.

Stay tuned for an online 'virtual walk-through' as well as a list of the new amenities she'll be offering. The new schedules and new classes will be posted soon too!

PS- So that not only Auburn catches all the glory, the Charlton studio is also expanding with a second dance room!
